Club Facilities
Since its rebirth in 2008, Martin Downs Sports Resort has transformed into a facility that provides an exceptional sports, fitness and social experience. Our 10-acre facility features 12 tennis courts, 11 of which are har-tru clay & 1 hard court , casual dining at the Centre Court Grille and Tiki Bar, a 24 hour state-of-the-art fitness center , two pristine pools, a pro shop, and much more! There’s truly something for everyone at Martin Downs Sports Resort!
Rosalind Neilen and her staff from Rosalind’s Downtown Fitness provide group and private fitness training in a newly renovated fitness center that is open 24/7. Courts and facilities are available for seasonal sports such as basketball, volleyball and soccer for adults and children.
Two lap lanes are available in the heated 25-yard pool from dawn until 8:00 p.m. for lap swimmers. Need to soothe those aching muscles? Relax in the heated spa. Just want to splash around with the kids? The 15-yard family pool is the perfect spot! Adjacent to the pool area is a children’s playground complete with slides, swings and sand toys!
Speaking of children’s entertainment, kids can participate in sports camp or tennis programs when school is closed and we have a variety of after-school tennis, basketball, soccer, volleyball and swim leagues/instruction provided by Pat Toner’s H2O Kids throughout the school year.
Who let the dogs out? Let your “best friend” run wild at Martin Downs Sports Resort fenced in dog park! Members can exercise and socialize their pets in a safe, shaded area. Alison Martz, the owner of Dogs Gone Wild, offers dog obedience classes and private training at the resort.
The Centre Court Grille is open daily from 11-4 p.m. the grille offers a full menu of salads, homemade soups, hot and cold sandwiches, daily specials and a variety of fruit smoothies. Enjoy your family-friendly meal overlooking the pool at the newly constructed Tiki Bar, or in the air-conditioned dining area with a 42” flat screen T.V. Our popular Friday night “Happy Hour,” monthly buffet offerings, and themed holiday parties – along with musical entertainment - complete the resort experience.
